The best way to understand what we do is through observation. Here are some before and after photos to clarify the job of professional organizers.
A mom had enough and asked for some assistance in keeping her daughter's room together. After sorting and organizing, we were able to set up a system that the child could keep. To this day, she is still keeping her room in order.
This attic was being used as a dressing area and for storage. With some reconfiguration and organization, we were able to provide a clear, open environment for dressing and easily identifiable storage.
This room became the "dump everything here" room, especially when people used the pool. A shelving unit to place toys where they belonged and a used towel system was all that was needed to maintain order. (Some minor "staging " was accomplished with photos and a new carpet.)
This room became a "store all- throw all" room when this family moved in three years ago. After weeding through the items and assigning places for them, the room was almost completely empty and ready for a new bed.
This family was unable to locate items they needrd in this garage. They also were unable to reach their extra refrigerator without tripping over something in their path. We were able to remove all unecessary items from the walking area. This allowed us to set up an easy system for locating tools and supplies.
This mom wanted to give her son back his playroom after household items started creeping into the room. With strategic placement of all items were were able to create a playroom/home storage area for Mom and son.
Getting rid of clutter eliminates 40% of the housework in the average home.
